ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting directly to the VP of Client Services, the Account Executive - Existing Business is the driving force behind growing Glaciers’ presence in the marketplace through positive client interactions and wallet share growth. You will manage the end-to-end sales and campaign management process for a group of pre-existing clients with an emphasis on establishing long-term strategic client relationships to grow revenue and achieve client satisfaction objectives.

Working in conjunction with our Marketing team, you will support on targeted outreach to clients to drive Glacier’s growth and overall brand presence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and has a very strong desire to achieve results for both our clients and our organization.

TASKS & DUTIES

  • Achieve sales target by creating and executing a business plan within assigned accounts to exceed revenue goals and expand Glacier’s brand presence in the industry
  • Establishes and executes sales strategies that effectively present a solid business case to clients, using competitive intelligence to best leverage Glacier and demonstrating how Glacier’s products can solve business problems
  • Own the RFP process from end-to-end inclusive of maintaining positive relationships with strategic partners and ensuring on-time submissions in accordance with Glacier’s RFP process
  • Execute Quarterly Business Reviews to demonstrate key opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Glean business insights and industry knowledge through structured client outreach, developing mutually beneficial relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in assigned accounts
  • Actively participate, lead, and deliver webinars to add value for clients and demonstrate Glacier’s brand, supporting content development as necessary
  • Successfully onboard new clients and quickly build rapport to become a trusted advisor to key decision-makers
  • Engage in structured outreach to clients, ensuring Glacier remains top of mind and aware of all industry factors that are impacting our client’s business or industry
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and events; leveraging networking opportunities to grow relationships with prospects or clients while positioning Glacier’s capabilities
  • Responsible for the end-to-end project management of all client campaigns, leading sales engagement and internal meetings, driving workback schedules and involving resources as needed to address client needs
  • Captures all relevant information in the CRM system, maintaining accurate forecast data and timelines
  • Lead internal channel meetings to ensure all client campaigns remain on time and on budget while escalating any concerns to the executive team

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
  • 4+ years of consultative sales experience in prospecting, developing and closing leads for new business within marketing, technology, public sector or a directly related field
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives over the course of several years
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and present intangible value
  • Excellent time management, communications (oral & written), decision-making, presentation and organization skills
  • Ability to travel internationally, attend events & represent Glacier in a professional and engaging way
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Entrepreneurial “get it done” attitude
  • Experience with project management software (Asana, Hubspot) is an asset
